Is it Spring yet?

This week, we mistakenly thought that Spring had finally arrived. Mrs Bennett and the children planted some potatoes. We have put them in the shed to make sure they don't get too cold! We also planted some other seeds for our garden.

A visit from Captain Hook

The children were convinced that Captain Hook had visited the reception garden and were keen to use their writing skills to contact him. Captain Hook even left some quill pens for the children to use to write back.

A giant map was drawn

The children were very excited to listen to the story CD of Peter Pan. They all crammed in to the reading corner to listen to it.

Snow Fun

The children enjoyed exploring the snow. We were very excited to see some tracks that have been left by some of the wildlife that had visited our garden.

When it got too cold for some of the children, they enjoyed investigating the snow inside. Looking at what the different colour dyes did to the snow.

I've made a sphere!
